LACYD's Committees do the hard work for our organization.  Do you want to be a Young Dem leader?  Consider joining a committee!  Contact the Committee chairs with questions or to find out when they're next meeting ... here's a run down on LACYD's Committees:

To join the Activities Committee and help LACYD plan important events throughout the year, contact Caroline Carr. 


To join the Legislative Committee and help create the platform and legislative agenda, contact Dante Atkins.  The Legislative Committee also has its own blog, which can be seen at www.LACYDlegislative.blogspot.com.


To join the Political Committee and help formulate LACYD’s legislative policies and outreach to elected officials, contact Odest Riley. 


To join the Outreach Committee and help LACYD reach out to important groups in our community, contact Dan Witzling. 


To join the Fundraising Committee and help plan for the 2009 Laurel Awards, contact Karla Diaz.
