LACYD's Committees do the hard work for our organization.  Do you want to be a Young Dem leader?  Consider joining a committee!  Contact the Committee chairs with questions or to find out when they're next meeting ... here's a run down on LACYD's Committees:

Committee Chairs for the 2011 Board will be selected at the upcoming board planning retreat.  In the mean time, please contact LACYD President David Graham-Caso if you are interested in getting more involved with the Los Angeles County Young Democrats.

The Activities Committee helps LACYD plan important events throughout the year. 


The Legislative Committee creates the platform and legislative agenda for the organization.  The Legislative Committee also has its own blog, which can be seen at www.LACYDlegislative.blogspot.com (and will hopefully be updated soon!)


The Political Committee helps to formulate LACYD’s political policies and outreach to elected officials. 


The Outreach Committee helps LACYD reach out to important groups in our community. 


The Fundraising Committee helps raise money for the organization and helps plan for the 2011 Laurel Awards.
