FREE TRAVEL, CAMPAIGN TRAINING AND BREAKFAST WITH SEN. DARRELL STEINBERG!

The members of the Los Angeles County Young Democrats have been given a wonderful opportunity to join Young Democrats from across the state in support of Christopher Cabaldon for Assembly.

Cabaldon is the candidate supported by the California Young Democrats and the Sacramento County Young Democrats and this coming weekend an independent expenditure campaign by Ed Voice will be be paying for the expenses.

What is covered:

* Travel to/from Sacramento.
* Hotel for two nights at the Sacramento Radisson.
* Dinner Friday and breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday.
* $15 Starbucks card for each attendee.

Additionally, for each member that that attends:
* The local club will receive $50 and CYD will receive $50. 

The weekend will include:

* A nice dinner Friday night hosted by the Sac County YDS.
* Campaign traing from top campaign experts in the state (Friday Night).
* Breakfast with in-coming Senate Pro Temp Darrell Steinberg (Saturday).
* Precinct walking Saturday.
* Dinner Saturday night with YDs from across the state.

On Thursday, May 15th the LACYD will be hosting endorsements for the following races:

Torrance City Counci
Prop 98 and Prop 99

Following the endorsement vote we will be joining other local YD chapters for a reception for Claire Conlon, the new Executive DIrector of the California Young Democrats.  So come, vote, enjoy some free food and (no-host bar) drinks and meet the new CYD director!
