Each year, LACYD members and supporters gather at the to celebrate achievements in progressive politics around Los Angeles.

This year, in recognition of the tremendous contributions made by Governor Jerry Brown and his father, the legendary Governor Pat Brown, to the fabric of the State of California and our party, we have renamed our long-running Laurel Awards in their honor.

The 2017 Pat & Jerry Brown Awards will be held in the evening on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Blue J Bar and Lounge, located in the Los Angeles's famed Arts District.
